I was at Target earlier today and I saw the cutest little dress for my cousin’s daughter Jolene on the clearance rack for only $4.00! It was green with pink, purple and blue polka dots, I couldn’t resist myself, so I bought it.
I had to go home to bring the groceries and check on my fiance (he recently had surgery and is still not fully up to par), so I did that and had to talk the fiance into letting me go so I promised I would play the Wii with him when I got home. Once that was agreed, I called my cousin Rachael to make sure she was home and headed over.
When I got there Jolene (Rachael’s daughter) was standing in the doorway and as soon as she saw me she started cheesing and yelling hi! I gave her a kiss and walked in to talk to Rachael and show her the dress. She loved it as much as I did! I sat with them for a while and had a cup of coffee before heading home to challenge the fiance on the Wii.
Now he will only play the Wii Play Pool game with me because I don’t like the Star Wars ones. So we start playing and for a while we are just taking turns winning staying either tied or one ahead of the other. But then all of a sudden I am on a streak and start winning back to back! Next thing I know I have 24 and he has 14!
So I tease him about it and what do you know, he doesn’t want to play anymore. So now I am stuck at home and don’t know what to do. I think I might go play me a little bit of Bingo on USA Bingo... no matter how late it is, if I can’t sleep, I can always buy me a couple packets and get to daubin’ at USA Bingo.
